Manufacturers have a responsibility to ensure that the minerals used in their products such as tin, tungsten, tantalum and gold (commonly referred to as 3TG) are sourced responsibly and do not fund armed conflicts. This ensures that they align with regulations like the Dodd-Frank Act in the U.S. or the EU Conflict Minerals Regulation, and emphasises supply chain due diligence to trace the origin of these materials.

Our company-wide Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) database is available for download below and provides standardised data reporting for country of origin, smelters, suppliers and refiners data.

The company level Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) Extended Minerals Reporting Template (EMRT) database is also available to download below and contains the reporting data required for Cobalt and Mica within our supply chain.

REACH stands for Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals. It is a European Union regulation that came into force on 1st June 2007. The main aim of REACH is to ensure a high level of protection for human health and the environment from the risks posed by chemicals. The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive is a European Union regulation that aims to reduce the environmental and health risks associated with hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. It effectively bans the use of certain substances in new electrical and electronic equipment products launched onto the market. The banned substances are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium (CrVI) along with Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB) or Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) — the final two substances are often found in flame retardant materials. Products we import and export comply with UK customs requirements, trade sanctions, export controls and agreed Incoterms. Product origin, shipping documentation and customer screening are verified ahead of every shipment, ensuring our global supply chain remains compliant and transparent.

We are committed to reducing our environmental impact by minimising waste, encouraging recycling and reducing energy consumption across our operations. We select responsible suppliers and continually look for ways to improve our environmental performance as a business.

Our financial processes are built around segregation of duties, defined approval limits, regular reconciliations and secure banking practices. We maintain accurate accounting records and apply anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks to safeguard the business and our partners.

All quotations issued by AA Frequency Solutions are accurate and formally approved, and customer complaints, RMAs, warranties and commercial agreements are fully documented. Pricing, discounts and payment terms are applied consistently, in line with approved authority levels.

Our suppliers are evaluated against quality, delivery, ethical, compliance and financial stability criteria before approval. Approved suppliers are reviewed periodically, with corrective actions agreed and tracked wherever improvement is required, helping us maintain a resilient and responsible supply chain.
